Pictures were taken at Fjordane Folkehøgskule, Norway.
I used 20 sek exposure, 100 ISO and F 3,2.
All photos were shot in RAW and then edited slightly to make the front part of the picture pop out.

Manual mode RAW f 2,8 apparture 3 sec. ISO 100
I used a intervalometer to make my camera (Fuji Finepix hs20 exr) take a picture every 5 sec.
In photoshop I stacked all 49 pictures together, using the “Lighten” blending option. The picture did not contain very many stars, so to make the picture more interesting, I went to the “Channel”-panel and selected the red layer. Then I made a copy of it, and changed it a little bitt, before placing it among the other startrails. Finally I reduced the noise using the Photoshop noise reduction option.
Usually I don’t stack all photos manually, but this time the software I normally use (Starstax), was not working.
I always shoot in raw to make sure I can make the stars pop, and create a nice silhouette of the stars.
